HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Job description

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

HUMAN RESOURCES:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office, as well as the administration of the Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs
  • Maintain personnel records of employees on matters such as wages, leaves, disciplinary actions, and training
  • Knowledgeable in HR standards, regulations, legislation and ensure compliance
  • Recruiting and staffing talent
  • Performance management and improvement systems
  • Organization development
  • Regulatory compliance ​and reporting
  • Employee orientation (badge access), development, and training
  • Policy development and documentation
  • Employee relationship management
  • Company-employee communications for onsite and for those working elsewhere in the United States
  • Compensation and benefits administration
  • Able to coach and mentor others
  • Able to handle conflict resolution
  • Familiar with ADP or a payroll platform

 

Qualifications

  • Possess a certification as an HR Professional or have completed HR coursework in a post-secondary education degree program.
  • Possess a high level of technical expertise, ability to apply skills to continuous process improvement while maintaining maximum levels of safety
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities
  • Possess current or to complete Standard First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Manufacturing and/or warehouse experience
  • Understanding of current legislation, Codes of Practice, Bulletins and other safe work practice requirements and recommendations
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other common applications
  • Must be able to present materials and facilitate training
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Salary: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
